The food is EXCELLENT, fresh, homemade, Nigerian cuisine! The owner is an excellent cook. She is also very kind! We had Okra & Ugba Soup with Goat Meat and Pounded Yam, Jollof Rice, Fish with Stew and Vegetables. The ABSOLUTE BEST Nigerian food we’ve ever had! We love her cooking and will continue to eat at Afro Taste Cuisine!

This was my husband’s and I first time at this place . We wanted some good Nigerian food. We looked for restaurants and decided to come here. I’m glad we did. The restaurant itself is clean, street parking (paid of course). Customer service was good-the owner I’m assuming told us that they just opened recently within the last week or so. I mention this as some of the items on the menu weren’t available. We were a bit disappointed as we wanted to try more food options. But, what we did have ( fried rice with fish and beef, pounded yam with spinach & kale vegetables with goat meat and beef, plantains was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, NOT microwaved like some others. It was mildly spicy as expected but not overly spicy. We even ordered some to go. We definitely will be back to try the coconut rice😀.

We had an absolutely delicious meal at Afro Taste. The flavors were rich and intense and the food was filling. The portions were HUGE. One order of jollof rice and fish could feed three people. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Nigerian meal.
